The following is a list of open standards we support in our platform.

• RSS - we use RSS 1.0 for general feeds, and RSS 2.0 for Podcasts/AudioFeeds
• XSPF - format for sharing playlists
• MP3 & M3U - the audio file format that changed the world, and it's sidekick streaming file
• Creative Commons Licensing - people needed a new way to protect and 'share' their content
• Microformat: rel-license - added to all music creative commons license links
• Microformat: rel-nofollow - added to non-content links, like our review tool
• Microformat: rel-tag - on all tags in all places tags are used on the site
• Microformat: rel-enclosure - on all song download links
• Microformat: xfn - XFN (XHTML Friends Network)
• Microformat: hCard - People and Organizations
• Microformat: geo (draft) - geographic latitude longitude information
• Microformat: adr - address information
• CAPTCHA - a challenge/response system on all contact and blog reply forms (blocking most spam)

The Web is evoloving, and with this change comes more standards and greater opportunity. This list covers the standards we plan, or are considering to integrate into the platform. Any request for additional standards will be considered.
